Hi guys! :-D the names Matt and i'm comin to you from Clifton NJ(passaic county) and i wanna play paintball. i'm thrilled i found a milsim team so close to home.

So what i would like to know is:
Do you guys play "outlaw-ball" or only go to fields to play?
The reason i ask is that i wouls absoluteltly LOVE to come and play on some backwoods with you guys one weekend or another. Just to play paintball, not to try and weasel my way onto your team somehow.
again i just want to play Paintball, without having to sell one of my kidneys to be able to afford field prices!

A little about me:
I've been playin for a good number of years albeit very seldom, but its always been Milsim woodsball. On the field i've been told that i'm pretty quick and quiet or great at keepin heads down and attention directed at me(yeah i know 2 extremes there). Unfortunately i currently don't have a milsim setup, but i have some pretty decent Kit. Full Multicam, 88/45psi airtank(heh yeah), so-so Goggs, i'm using an Ion with halo b right now thats all fancy(Urban cam body) that i bought with the intent of turning into a saw. Aside from that i've always used my 98 and i got every possible mile out of her that i could. (i mean this gun has been 52 different colors from fades to cammo, and had every mod known to man done to it, i turned it into a H&K g33(<-nicest by far), a Barret, a 16, and mp5 before milsim kits were available all from homemade parts) I have some pictures up on that God forsaken website we all know as myspace of some of my guns, including my old SHOEBOX SHOCKER SPORT! which i friggin love, so if you're interested just say the word and i'll post the link and upload pics.
(i'm an ameteur machinist/ironworker and i have a couple projects in the works that i don't have pics of yet, nothin to crazy just a ghillie(even though i don't like using them) and a bolt action M-24 knockoff)

A couple reasons tht i'd like to play with you guys are:
I just want to play Paintball! I'm really excited that there are people within driving range that are as enthusiastic as i am about MILSIM play. None of my friends play anymore. So, maybe if i start palying again then theres a chance that they might also.

Ok i've done enough rambling for 1 night. I'll leave you all to do whatever it is you might do! Take care.
Thanks very much,
Matt

Matt, welcome to the site and thank you for your interest!

Just to set one thing straight though, we ARE NOT a "Milsim Team". We're just a team that just so happens to have a lot of members that are into the Milsim style of play and modification. Members are allowed to use whatever gear and markers they please, milsim or not, so long as they are functional for woodsball use and "low visibility" meaning basically, no bright colors. But yes, there are those of us with M4's, MP5's, AKS74U's, etc.

Anyway, we'd love to have you out to play with us, however, we keep it as team policy that before we invite anyone to an outlaw game, we need to meet you in person at a sanctioned field/event. Its sad that we have to do this, but we've had issues with people regging here who are only out to cause trouble, so in order to ensure that people are who they say they are, we require a face-to-face meeting on neutral territory before giving away our private practice field's location. Our next game is Tribal Conquest at On Target Paintball near Browns Mills, NJ, and I believe the next one after that is NJ NAM at USANA paintball. These are actually relatively inexpensive scenarios so you should try and make it out. We haven't chosen a side for Tribal Conquest yet but we will be registering American for NJ NAM. Hope to see you out there soon!
