I want to let you all know that On Target Paintball will be hosting a BYOP scenario (yes, it's more of a scenario than a big game) on Sunday, Dec. 7th 2008. I have been asked to be the general for one of the sides. I would like to call upon all the players and teams that I have gotten to know over the years to come together and play for our side as one unified team.

Below are the details. (Note that the game will be officially announced this week. If anything changes, I'll update everyone immediately.
• When: Dec. 7th, 2008 (one day game)
• Where: On Target Paintball
• General/C.O.: Roger Del Russo (Delta Raiders)
• Exec. officer/X.O.: Waldo of The Black Eagle Squadron
• 2 Teams: West vs. East
• Our team: West (color TBD)
• 3rd entity team(s): 2 teams. Each will will be confined to a single field. A flag station will be located within their field. Passage will be accomplished via brute force, negotiation or other "creative" means.
• Flip-sticks/scoring: There will be one flip-stick in each of the 3rd entity team's field, one at each base, and at least one in the general playing field. (Minimum of 5). Scoring will be based on how long a flip-stick is held. ie., 1pt per min. per stick. (Other scoring details TBD) Note: 3rd entity teams can never touch a flip-stick.
• Team structure: I will deploy 4-6 dedicated radio operators using high powered UHF radios. We will have eyes on all parts of the field at all times and will deploy appropriate forces where they are needed, when they are needed. I will have a dedicated staff to assist me with player deployment logistics. Anyone who is willing to step up as a radio op. (field commander), please let me know so I can put your name on the list. For those of you that have played for/with me at any of the larger games at Skirmish, you know what to expect. For those that haven't been a part of this, you'll love it.
• This is a Bring Your Own Paint event!!! It will be cold, so if you can find 'winter grade' paint, please do so.
• Reffing staff: The OTP Saints will be a dedicated reffing staff.
• Produced by: The OTP Saints.
So. If you're interested, let me know what the likelihood of your attendance will be. Also, please provide me with a *rough* headcount when you think you can. For those that will attend, you will be kept tightly in the loop on all planning, committed teams and strategy. Note: No details on strategy will be shared with players/teams until they are registered with OTP and I have confirmed which side they are registered on.

Hope to see everyone at this one and I'll provide more details and links as they become available. In the meantime, please respond with any questions and/or thoughts.

Best regards,
Roger
